The Conversation - Why Now?

Marc Hurwitz - The Tribe, NextDor Miami
As synagogues see diminishing congregational memberships, it's critical to engage the young professional community to ensure the vitality of the Jewish community in America for generations to come.

Rachel Bregman - NextDor Atlanta
We are the next generation and we are in a whole new worlds. We long for a meaningful life involving a Jewish identity and ache for synagogues to meet us here in this new landscape, but…

New Cordoba House bus ads... not ok folks

Well, this isn't what I was planning on writing about today, but I just saw a tweet to an article that... wow - don't even know that I have words.

If you're not in New York, you've probably missed most of the debate over the Cordoba House, an Islamic community center (compared to JCCs with swimming pool and gym) which also houses a mosque.

I'm not even going to try and sum up the back and forths, suffice to say it's been getting nastier and…
